Why Did Gina Write The Book?

Here I was, a former Catholic nun, simply existing without God. I did not know what to do or think. I was depleted. A relative suggested putting my feelings and thoughts on paper and seeing what God would do.  Boy, did God do something. I was finally able to persevere through the anger, pain, suffering, and the unknown.

I wrote my memoir, Shake The Dust Off Your Feet and Walk, as a way to confront my painful past and share my journey from despair to healing, from anger to forgiveness. After experiencing profound loss, addiction, rejection, and straying from my faith, I found the courage and love to share my story to inspire others suffering from grief, alcoholism, or loss. By exposing my struggles, I aspire to remind readers that even in their darkest moments, faith and perseverance can light the way to redemption. I pray my words offer hope to anyone longing to shake off life's burdens, walk toward spiritual renewal, and know you are loved.

"That was a place where I sat and cried all the time. I would look at the beach, watch the ocean, and scan the horizon where heaven and earth met. For hours, I would sit there and ask, “Why, oh why?”
